Welcome to Issaquah Community Services
Newsletter Archive
At Issaquah Community Services, we believe that strong, caring communities are built when neighbors look out for one another — and that’s exactly what this newsletter is all about.
Each edition brings you up-to-date stories of real people and families helped in our community, data showing how lives have been positively impacted, updates on volunteer and donation opportunities, and ways you can get involved. You’ll discover how your support — whether through time, donations, or spreading the word — helps keep roofs over heads and lights on for neighbors in our region.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter, a new neighbor, or just curious about what’s happening in our community, this newsletter is your window into how we work together to lift each other up.
Sign up, stay connected, and see how — together — we make a difference.
Help make an impact and share the word so Issaquah Community Services is no longer a well-kept secret in our community!

Spring 2026 Updates
In this newsletter … we share how, in the first three months of 2026 alone, we helped 123 households (364 residents) with rent and utility assistance and supported a widowed father of four in avoiding eviction during a family crisis, while also recognizing the dedicated service of volunteers Elaine Davis and Carol Schneider; most importantly, we invite you to make a meaningful impact by supporting us during the GiveBIG campaign on May 5, helping ensure we can continue keeping neighbors safely in their homes.
100% of your donations go directly to neighbors in need.
